I’M AN AMERICAN GIRL WHO IS CURRENTLY STUCK IN ITALYIt's my birthday and I honestly don't give a damn even though I'm half a century old, cause I feel like hundreds of centuries have passedI have no desires for myself because I always put who I love firstThe only wish I have is for my Duke, my lovely dog ​​who is seriously ill and I often feel guilty because 6 years ago he saved my life from a terrible tumor then he absorbed (because there was no way to  remove it) radiation and went blind deaf in one ear and with severe disease in the hind and front legs and possibly because biopsies are a mess in his state he has throat cancer. The costs to treat him are exorbitant because so many diagnostic tests have to be performed and I still live with the disability He saved my life, now I should save his but I cannot do it alone, he is a piece of my soul and even if it is not even him, so much younger, he is still so many years old and deserves to live as peacefully as possible because a  dog is not worth less than a person in fact it is often worth 100 times moreA friend of mine told me "it's a lost cause to hope that someone will help you for a dog, it often doesn't help people" I want to do it anyway for love but also for gratitude to have a little angel who gave everything and grew up with my children  , also making them his "father" since the biological one is a monster locked up I hope for decades this time, behind barsI will not pity myself by putting photos of him in various disastrous conditions, because I do not seek mercy.I just wish my Duke could be cared for and live like any other dogHand on heart if you have one, it's up to you if you want, vice versa I could sell myself a kidney to save his life at my own risk but I have two pathological children to think about ....an act of humanity in this difficult time for everyone  worth more than other good gestures in better timesThanks for your attention God bless you
