Costruire e avviare una scuola di sartoria ad Accra (Ghana) per dare un futuro ad alcune ragazze del luogo, in vista di un'autonomia economica e sociale, senza la quale sono destinate o a subire un matrimonio combinato o ad accettare la via della prostituzione.

L'Associazione Africagoo aps (sganciata da qualsiasi organizzazione politica o religiosa) promuove progetti solidali e di scambio culturale assieme agli africani.

Con i contributi degli associati è stato costruito l'edificio e si è comperata l'attrezzatura per il laboratorio di sartoria. Ora si pone la necessità di offrire a queste ragazze anche un dormitorio e un convitto, perché spesso provengono da villaggi lontani dove faticano a rimediare un pasto. Si deve prevedere un compenso (meno che minimo rispetto ai nostri standard) anche per l'insegnante di sartoria e per il responsabile della struttura, entrambi ghanesi.

Per poter iniziare l'attività abbiamo calcolato che serviranno ancora circa 12.000 euro. Anche un piccolo o piccolissimo contributo può essere vitale per il futuro di queste ragazze.

With the contributions of the members, the building was built and the equipment for the tailoring workshop was bought.

Now we need to offer these girls also a dormitory and a refectory, because they often come from distant villages where they struggle to find a meal. A fee (less than a minimum compared to our standards) must also be provided for the tailoring teacher and for the manager of the structure, both from Ghana.

In order to start the business, we have calculated that around 12,000 euros will still be needed. Even a small or very small contribution can be vital for the future of these girls.
